
Change of personnel at Bühler AG: from 2026, the current Head of Sales and Services Samuel Schär will take over as CEO, replacing Stefan Scheiber. The Board of Directors has new plans for the latter.
The Board of Directors of Bühler AG intends to appoint Samuel Schär as the new CEO as of January 2026. Samuel Schär completed his basic education with a degree in physics at the EPFL in Lausanne. After gaining initial professional experience in the consulting industry, he joined Bühler 20 years ago to set up the new Nanotechnology business unit. After subsequently managing the Grinding & Dispersing business unit for several years, he was appointed to Group Management in 2013 and was successfully responsible for the Advanced Materials division for 10 years. He then took over the management of the global Services & Sales organization.
Stefan Scheiber - the current CEO - is to be proposed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bühler Group, according to a statement from the Board. Scheiber can look back on a successful 35-year career at Bühler in Switzerland and abroad. He has been a member of Group Management for 20 years in various areas of responsibility and will have been CEO for ten years at the end of this year.
