Speira introduces new CFO

Speira has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer: Johannes Steurer just took over responsibility for the European Aluminium rolling and recycling company’s Finance, Legal, and IT.

Steurer most recently served as CFO (since 2012) and CEO (since 2022) of Aluflexpack AG. At the Swiss-based packaging group, the 41-year-old developed the brand strategy and drove forward internationalization, among other things. "His extensive experience in the industry, especially in the business of our customers, and his performance profile in the fields of Finance, IR, Legal and Compliance, as well as value creation make Johannes the ideal CFO to take Speira to the next stages," says CEO Einar Glomnes.

Before entering the industry, the Austrian-born acted as Analyst and Investment Manager at Global Equity Partners Group. He holds a Magister’s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has completed all exams of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
