EUROGUSS

GROB is presenting one of its largest machines from the F-series family, the G720F, at EUROGUSS. The machine is a strong example of the differentiation of the GROB machine portfolio. With its 5-axis A/B interference circle of 1500 mm and its high stability, the G720F is a typical representative of the crossover series for all important components, from the frame structure component, the subframe to the battery housing. The A/B axis combination in the table guarantees free chip fall and excellent heat dissipation, which is particularly suitable for MQL machining. The axis arrangement of the F-series corresponds to GROB's proven machine concept. Modular and standardised machine components guarantee high product quality, dynamics and short chip-to-chip times. Visitors to EUROGUSS will be able to experience the machining dynamics of the G720F live when the machine machines a subframe in aerial combat.

GROB is also offering an exciting preview of the upcoming 900 series. This innovative series sets new standards in the production of the future. The series is divided into three machine types, starting with the double-spindle G920X. With two spindles and bridges arranged one above the other and a maximum workpiece length of 2600 mm, the machine is predestined for the machining of extruded profiles. Not only the automotive and aerospace sectors benefit from this new development, but also the construction industry. Also new to GROB's repertoire are the G900F4 and G920F4, these machines are available in single and twin-spindle versions. They enable customers to efficiently machine mega castings and battery trays. Finally, the G900F5 and G920F5 join the new 900 series. These machines are also available as single and twin-spindle machines. They have been specially developed for processing mega and giga castings.

The new series emphasises GROB's commitment to pioneering solutions and its role as a trailblazer for industrial development. "With our new series, we want to provide our customers with modern and efficient production. True to our motto "One step ahead", the new machines are perfectly tailored to the requirements of the market and our customers. The 900 series covers all machining options, from extruded profiles and battery trays to giga and mega casting," emphasises Carsten König, GROB Head of Key Account Management for Machining Technology. "With our portfolio in the field of machining technology, we are very broadly positioned. With the G-series and F-series, we have already been able to cover a wide range of applications, and with the new 900 series, including the associated new X-series, we can continue to master the diverse challenges together with our customers," continues Carsten König.
