FLOW-3D CAST: Simulation in die casting

Das in diesem Artikel erwähnte Unternehmen ist Aussteller auf der kommenden EUROGUSS.
EUROGUSS

FLOW-3D CAST can be used to effectively and comprehensively investigate, analyse and optimise all common casting processes and materials, from the concept stage through the prototype phase to series production. The programme shows its particular strengths and advantages especially in the simulation of die casting processes thanks to the high level of calculation accuracy and extensive prediction criteria.

Our FLOW-3D CAST users appreciate the wide range of options for calculating the cycle, mould filling, solidification and cooling as well as the precise prediction of casting defects and important properties of the casting and mould. An intuitive user interface, automated modelling and extensive material databases guarantee fast and efficient simulations. The tool is used, for example, to optimise component design as well as in the conception and design of casting technology and in tool design. It is also used successfully to derive robust process parameters and to support high-quality casting production.

In the FLOW-3D CAST 2023R2 version, Flow Science presents a completely revised cycle model, improved computing power and numerous enhancements to the implemented models. Thanks to the inclusion of mould filling, the thermal behaviour of the filling chamber can now be examined together with a stress analysis. In addition, the movement of the slides and all individual mould preparation steps (spraying, cleaning, coating, inserts) are taken into account.

The FLOW-3D POST 2023R2 post-processor has also been further developed in many areas and offers new and improved analyses with accelerated performance. This provides the user with many options for effectively and interactively analysing, presenting and communicating the simulation results.

We look forward to your visit and a personal discussion at our stand.
